Why guarantees matter on the product page
The product page is where the shopper decides whether the risk is worth it.
A guarantee next to the buy button answers the last doubt at the moment of the click.
Most winning tests here put it close to that button.

Losing or flat tests
No measured guarantee test lost. The closest is Dave Diederen's button copy test, where "Try Risk Free Today" lost to plain "Add to Cart", which won every time.
Two wins also carry caveats: Kasper Dolk's expandable benefits at 93.45% confidence and the timeline test still being confirmed.
Untested ideas
- Dave Diederen suggests making the guarantee specific to the main objection, such as a "30-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee".
- Dave Diederen also suggests adding a usage rate: "Less than 1% of customers used our 30-day money-back guarantee".
- Dave Diederen suggests matching guarantee length to price: 14 days under $50, 30 days for $50-200, 60 days for $300+.
- Kasper Dolk suggests showing the guarantee in the first viewport and placing a money-back badge near pricing tiers.
- Kasper Dolk suggests an extended warranty upsell after the standard guarantee.
Placement and design patterns that won
- Directly under the add-to-cart button, or as a small line inside it.
- A specific length: three of the wins name 60 days.
- Short wording with a bold, benefit-led headline.
- Grouped with free shipping and easy returns.
