The best-known CRO agency based in Canada is Conversion (formerly Widerfunnel), with its North American office in Vancouver.
For ecommerce brands, SplitBase and EcomExperts in Montreal both run A/B testing programs, and Pilothouse in Victoria pairs landing page testing with paid media.
If you'd rather work with a team that has published results with us, our featured practitioner Oliver Kenyon of Conversionwise, a UK team, has shared 100 of them.
How we picked: we checked each agency's location on its own site or, where the site lists no address, in public directories (we say which).
We read their service pages and case studies and matched them against the tests in our archive.
We have not hired these agencies, and this is not a paid ranking.

Our featured practitioner: Oliver Kenyon, Conversionwise
Oliver Kenyon co-founded Conversionwise and has 13 years in ecommerce CRO.
Conversionwise is not Canadian: its contact page lists Bristol and London.
We feature it because it has shared 100 test results with us, more detail than any agency on this page has published.
Its results include a mega menu with category descriptions and a testimonial instead of product images worth +$151,192/month, and Quick Add buttons on collection page product cards worth +$135,307/month.

The 6 CRO agencies in Canada
1. Conversion (formerly Widerfunnel)

Based in: Vancouver. The Conversion contact page lists its North American office at Suite 1480, 333 Seymour Street, Vancouver, and a second office in London.
Widerfunnel, the Vancouver testing agency, was acquired by Sideshow Group in 2021 and now works under the Conversion name.
What they do: A dedicated CRO agency. The Conversion site lists conversion rate optimization, personalization, conversion-centered design, enterprise program consulting, UX research, and product and pricing experimentation.
Known for: Large experimentation programs. Its case studies include £2.8 million generated for Clarks from the first experiment, an 18x return on investment for Gousto, and pricing and journey tests that helped Wistia double sales.
Tests in our archive: None yet.
Best for: Enterprise ecommerce, SaaS and nonprofit teams that want a long-running program.
It is not built for a small site that wants a few quick tests, and it doesn't publish prices.
2. SplitBase

Based in: Montreal, according to agency directories such as Mida's list of Canadian CRO agencies.
The SplitBase site itself lists no office address.
What they do: CRO for direct-to-consumer brands. The SplitBase CRO service page covers full-site A/B testing, Shopify CRO, landing page design and site redesigns.
It says programs start at $8,500 a month, and its homepage says most run $8,500 to $15,000 a month.
Known for: Its published Dr. Squatch case study claims +$800,000 a month in revenue from conversion work, and its Kiehl's case study claims about $1.6M in added revenue.
Tests in our archive: 15, all ecommerce wins.
Defaulting the quantity selector to two bars gave up to +54% revenue per user at Dr. Squatch.
Three how-to GIFs on a product page gave +26% conversions at INH Hair, and an always-visible mobile search bar gave +19.4% conversion rate at Roots Of Fight.
Several others are bundles or before/after redesigns, so no single change is isolated.
Best for: Shopify and DTC brands with enough traffic to fund a monthly program.
At $8,500 a month and up, it isn't a fit for small stores, and it doesn't focus on SaaS or lead gen.
3. EcomExperts

Based in: Montreal. The EcomExperts site lists 2727 Saint-Patrick St., Montreal, Quebec.
What they do: A Shopify agency that combines CRO and A/B testing with development work: redesigns, custom features, migrations and ongoing maintenance.
Known for: Its site cites a 36% increase in revenue per session for Malbon in one quarter, 14+ influencer landing pages and a 39%+ subscription rate increase for Fatty 15, and lifting Darn Tough's mobile speed score from 5 to 75.
Tests in our archive: None yet.
Best for: Shopify Plus brands that want the same team to build and test.
It's a poor fit for non-Shopify sites, and some of its headline results are speed or build projects rather than controlled tests.
4. Pilothouse

Based in: Victoria, BC. The Pilothouse site lists 1011 Government Street, Victoria.
What they do: A performance marketing agency for ecommerce brands, with a CRO service that covers branded and custom landing pages and testing.
Its pitch is to turn creative and landing page learnings into better media buying.
Known for: More than 25 case studies on its site, including one for Manly Bands headlined "Doubles Conversion Rate" and a "78% sales boost" for Hestan.
Many of those results mix ads, Amazon and site work, so read each one to see what the CRO part did.
Tests in our archive: None yet.
Best for: Brands spending heavily on paid social or search that want ads and landing pages handled together.
If you only want a testing program on your existing site, a dedicated CRO agency is a closer fit.
5. Ollo Metrics

Based in: Vancouver. The Ollo Metrics site lists 301-1290 Howe St., Vancouver.
What they do: A digital marketing agency whose CRO service uses heatmaps, visitor recordings, quizzes, lead magnets and A/B testing.
It works across ecommerce, lead generation, local businesses and professional services.
Known for: Its homepage shows results such as a 119% increase in website conversions, but doesn't name the clients behind them, so ask for the case study before you rely on a number.
Tests in our archive: None yet.
Best for: Smaller businesses that want CRO alongside analytics and marketing from one team.
It is a generalist, so enterprise teams that need a deep testing program should look at Conversion or SplitBase.
6. Search Engine People

Based in: Toronto area. Its contact page lists offices in Toronto, Pickering and Vancouver, plus Raleigh, North Carolina.
What they do: An SEO, SEM and PPC agency that also sells conversion rate optimization, pitched at turning existing search traffic into more leads and sales.
Known for: Search marketing first. The CRO page offers a CRO calculator, but we didn't find a published CRO case study with numbers.
Tests in our archive: None yet.
Best for: Toronto lead-gen and service businesses that already buy SEO or paid search and want landing pages tuned by the same team. It is not a specialist testing shop.
Other agencies with tests in our archive
Two more agencies have shared results with us, but neither lists an office address on its site, so we couldn't confirm a Canadian base.
They're worth a look if you're happy to work remotely:
- Shivook rebuilds high-leverage Shopify pages and tests them against the original. A product page redesign at Daily Sale gave +63% revenue per visitor, and it also published a loss: a sales page with products at the top saw revenue per visitor fall ~34%. See the Shivook practitioner page.
- Convert Better sells A/B testing, CRO audits and CRO training. A booking page redesign with the calendar above the fold gave High Voltage SEO +119% bookings. See the Convert Better practitioner page.
Canadian businesses also appear as test owners. HomEquity Bank, which sells reverse mortgages to Canadian homeowners aged 55 and older, split a one-page inquiry form into seven steps for +154% conversion rate, then cut it to four steps for a further +53% conversions.
More form ideas are in our form optimization guide.
Which one is right for you

EcomExperts suits Shopify Plus brands that also need development. Our Shopify CRO agencies page has more.
Paid traffic first
Pilothouse, if most of your growth comes from ads and you want landing pages tested in the same loop.
Small business or lead gen in Toronto or Vancouver
Search Engine People in Toronto or Ollo Metrics in Vancouver, especially if you already need SEO or paid search help.
How to choose a CRO agency in Canada
- Ask for real tests, not just case studies. A test shows the control, the variant, the sample and the metric; a case study often shows only the best number.
- Ask about losses. Most tests don't win, so an agency that only shows wins is hiding most of its work.
- Check the metric. For ecommerce, revenue per visitor beats conversion rate alone; for lead gen, qualified leads beat form fills.
- Confirm your traffic is enough. A good agency will tell you if your site is too small to test and suggest research or fixes instead.
- Find out who does the work. Ask whether strategy, design and development are in-house or subcontracted.
- Decide if local matters. A Canadian team helps with French-language sites, Canadian pricing and time zones, but most CRO work is done remotely anyway.
- Agree how results are reported. Ask for test-level reports, including flat and losing tests, not only a monthly revenue figure.
Our guide on how to choose a CRO agency goes deeper.
What it costs
Few Canadian agencies publish prices. SplitBase is the exception: its programs start at $8,500 a month and typically run $8,500 to $15,000 a month, depending on traffic and how many tests and landing pages you need.
Conversion, EcomExperts, Pilothouse, Ollo Metrics and Search Engine People quote on request.
If a monthly retainer is too much, a one-off CRO audit or a freelance consultant is a cheaper first step.
Our CRO pricing guide breaks down typical retainers, audits and performance deals.
Real results from these agencies and Canadian sites
Canada Welding Supply's test was run by Vasta, which is based in Long Beach, California: replacing an app header with the native theme header gave +17.02% conversion rate.
Watch out for
- Unattributed numbers. Big percentages without a client name, sample size or test length can't be checked.
- Bundled redesigns sold as tests. A full rebuild can win, but it won't tell you which change mattered.
- Guarantees. A promised lift pushes an agency toward easy wins and short tests that call winners too early.
- Long lock-in contracts. Ask for a first 90-day phase with a clear exit before you sign a year.
