What we collect
Forms. When you use the expert-match form, we keep what you type: name, email, website, the answers you pick and any note.
When you submit a test, we keep your name, email, social handle, the test details and any screenshots.
We also keep the IP address the form was sent from, to stop spam.
Outbound clicks. When you click a link to another site, the page sends us the time, the page you were on and the link you clicked.
We don't store a name, cookie or IP address with it.
MCP server and ChatGPT app. When an AI assistant calls our tools, we log the time, the tool name, the search terms or page URL it sent (with any query string removed), the number of results and the client's user agent.
We don't receive your chat, your name or your account details.
When you ask for test ideas for a page, our server fetches that one public page and doesn't keep its content.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read.
It sets cookies and gets your browser's usual details, such as IP address, device and pages visited.
Google's own privacy policy covers that data. Add ?notrack=1 to any LiftArchive URL to turn it off in that browser.
Server logs. Our web host and Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site, keep standard request logs for security.
What we do with it
Expert-match answers go to the expert you were matched with, so they can reply, and a copy goes to LiftArchive.
Submitted tests are reviewed by hand before anything is published.
We use logs to fix problems, stop abuse and see which pages people find useful.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
We send a confirmation email after a form, and replies from a person.
There's no newsletter unless you ask for one.
How long we keep it
Form entries are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Click and MCP logs are kept for up to 18 months.
