The best quiz builder depends on what the quiz has to do after the last question.
Interact is the simplest pick for a lead-magnet quiz that feeds an email list, Outgrow suits marketers who also want calculators and assessments, involve.me and Heyflow are built for qualifying leads in multi-step funnels, and Typeform is the safe choice if you already use it for forms.
A quiz funnel tends to beat a plain form when visitors need help choosing, or when you need several answers to route or score a lead.
We have not used these tools ourselves. This roundup draws on each vendor's pricing pages and help docs, checked in November 2026, plus real A/B test results from the LiftArchive database that show what quizzes and multi-step forms can and cannot do.
When a quiz funnel beats a plain form
A quiz funnel asks a few questions, one at a time, and then shows a result: a product match, a score, a personality type or a quote.
The lead form usually sits just before the result.
The idea is that people who have answered five easy questions are more willing to give an email for the sixth.
Our database backs this up in lead generation, but with caveats.
Venture Harbour turned a finance lead form into a multi-step "tool-like" flow and saw conversion go from 11% to 46%.
That was a before-and-after comparison, not a controlled A/B test, so treat the size of the jump with care.
Controlled tests show smaller, steadier gains. Apexure added a single gateway question in front of a claim form for Reclaim My PPI and conversion rose from 4.33% to 6.09%.
Sunrise Senior Living added an interactive care questionnaire and reported +12% leads, again measured before and after.
More steps are not always better. HomEquity Bank first split a one-page form into seven steps, then found that cutting seven steps to four lifted conversions by another 53%.
The lesson: a quiz works when each question feels useful to the visitor, not when it pads the flow.
In ecommerce, quizzes act as product finders. GrowthRock tested a product quiz on a food supplement homepage and got +8% revenue per visitor with a flat conversion rate, meaning shoppers bought more rather than more shoppers buying.
If you run a Shopify store, our guide to Shopify quiz apps covers tools built for that case, and product quiz tests collects the results.
A plain form is still the better choice when visitors already know what they want: a demo request, a contact form or a quote with one obvious input.
In those cases, test a shorter lead form before building a quiz.
Interact
Interact is a dedicated quiz maker built around lead-magnet quizzes that connect to an email tool.
It offers personality, assessment and scored quizzes on every plan, and adds branching and category logic on paid plans, according to its plans page.
Pricing as of November 2026: a free plan with up to 100 email leads a month, then Lite at $27/month, Growth at $53/month and Pro at $125/month, all billed annually, per the Interact plans page.
Lite covers 500 leads a month and 25 quizzes, Growth 2,000 leads and 50 quizzes, Pro 8,000 leads and 100 quizzes.
Paid plans come with a 7-day free trial.
Its basic integrations list covers most email platforms, including Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Kit, MailerLite, GoHighLevel and Zapier.
That makes it a good fit for a quiz whose job is to segment new subscribers.
Downsides: pricing is tied to email leads, so a popular quiz can push you up a tier quickly.
Interact is built around quizzes, so if you also need calculators, payments or long qualification funnels, look at Outgrow, involve.me or Heyflow.
Not for: teams that need complex lead routing or quote flows.
Outgrow
Outgrow covers more content types than a pure quiz tool.
Its pricing page lists quizzes, assessments, polls, calculators and forms or surveys on the entry plan, with ecommerce recommendations, giveaways, chatbots and landing pages unlocked on higher tiers.
Pricing as of November 2026: Freelancer Limited is $14/month on annual billing or $22 month to month, with 250 leads a month and 5 content pieces.
Freelancer Pro is $25 or $45, Essentials $95 or $115 (7,500 leads a month, unlimited content), and Business $600 or $720 (50,000 leads a month), per Outgrow's pricing page.
There is also a free forms and surveys plan and a 7-day trial, and Enterprise is contact sales.
Outgrow's calculators are the main reason to choose it.
A mortgage, ROI or savings calculator works like a quiz but returns a number, which can suit B2B and financial services lead gen.
Downsides: the cheap Freelancer plans limit content types and content pieces, and some features such as custom domains and advanced integrations depend on higher tiers or a small-business offer.
The jump from Essentials to Business is large.
Not for: someone who only needs one simple quiz. Interact or Typeform will be simpler.
involve.me
involve.me is a funnel builder that combines quizzes, forms, calculators and landing pages with a built-in CRM.
Every plan includes conditional logic, answer scoring, pop-ups, embeds, coupon codes and 300+ templates, according to its pricing page.
Pricing as of November 2026: Start is $49 month to month or $29/month billed annually (3 live funnels, 1 user).
Grow is $99 or $69 (5 live funnels, branding removal, custom domain, HubSpot and Klaviyo).
Scale is $199 or $139 (25 live funnels, A/B testing, OTP verification, Salesforce, webhooks).
Enterprise starts at $499/month on annual contracts. Source: involve.me pricing.
A free plan covers up to 50 submissions or 500 visits a month with no credit card, which is enough to build and test a funnel before paying.
Downsides: limits are set by live funnels, so teams running many campaigns at once will need the Scale plan.
Native A/B testing only arrives on Scale, so cheaper plans need a separate A/B testing tool to compare a quiz against a form.
Not for: anyone who needs dozens of live quizzes on a small budget.
Typeform quizzes
Typeform is a general form builder, but it handles quizzes well.
Its help center describes two approaches: scoring, which adds points to answers and shows an ending based on the total, and outcome quizzes, which link answer choices to different endings.
It can also run price and score calculations for lead qualification.
Pricing as of November 2026: a free plan, then Basic at $39/month (100 responses), Plus at $79 (1,000 responses, branding removal) and Business at $129 (10,000 responses), billed monthly.
Annual billing lowers those to $28, $56 and $91 a month. See Typeform pricing.
Typeform's strength is that one tool covers quizzes, surveys and research forms.
That makes it useful in customer research too, where you ask visitors why they hesitate, turn the answers into a hypothesis, and then A/B test the change.
Downsides: Basic includes only 100 responses a month, and branding removal starts at Plus.
Typeform is not built as a quiz funnel tool, so product recommendations and result pages take more setup than in a dedicated quiz builder. Our Typeform review goes deeper.
Not for: high-volume lead gen on a tight budget, where response limits bite.
Heyflow
Heyflow, which prices in euros, builds multi-step lead funnels and quiz funnels.
Its pricing page offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card.
Pricing as of November 2026: Starter is listed at €19 per month (50 responses, 5 funnels), Growth at €89 (250 responses, 10 funnels, branding removal, payments, SMS OTP) and Scale at €239 (1,000 responses, 20 funnels, native A/B testing, custom code, webhooks).
Enterprise starts at €1,100 per month. Heyflow says yearly contracts save up to 34%. Source: Heyflow pricing.
Heyflow also sells a separate ecommerce plan, Prime, at €199 per month with 25,000 visitors and 10 quiz funnels, plus Shopify, Klaviyo and Stripe connections.
That puts it in competition with Shopify quiz apps for stores.
Downsides: response-based pricing gets expensive at volume, and A/B testing sits on the Scale plan.
Low response caps on Starter make it more of a trial tier than a production plan for busy funnels.
Not for: a simple personality quiz for a newsletter.
It is more tool than that job needs.

Whichever tool you pick, test the quiz against the page you have now.
Small details inside the quiz matter. Visually found that changing a quiz button from "Next" to "Get 20% Off" raised conversions by 24.8% for Bonafide, and Surefoot found that requiring an email to see bike-finder results brought 49% more email captures for The Pro's Closet.
If the quiz lives on a landing page, the page builder matters too.
Our landing page builders roundup covers tools that can host or embed these quizzes.
