AI Landing Page Builders: Which Ones Convert

An AI landing page builder can get you a decent first draft in minutes, but no AI builder can promise that page will convert.

The best ones for conversion work are the ones that pair AI drafting with built-in A/B testing: Unbounce and Instapage for lead-gen and SaaS, and Replo or GemPages for Shopify stores.

Framer and Webflow work best when the landing page sits on a marketing site you already run.

We have not used these tools ourselves. This roundup is based on vendor pricing pages, product docs and real tests from the LiftArchive database.

We may earn a commission if you sign up for Unbounce, Instapage, Replo or GemPages through our links. Framer and Webflow are not affiliate partners.

What AI landing page builders actually do

Most "AI" in these tools does one of three jobs.

It writes copy (headlines, body text, CTAs), it lays out a page from a prompt, screenshot or URL, or it creates variants and sends traffic to whichever one performs better.

The first two save time. Only the third has anything to do with conversion, and only if you have enough traffic to learn from.

A builder that writes ten headlines is useful.

A builder that lets you test those headlines against each other is much more useful.

Real tests show why the draft is the easy part.

Clean Commit rebuilt a hockey landing page on the layout of a page that worked for another sport, and conversions fell 38.5%.

A layout that wins for one audience can lose for another, and an AI builder that reuses templates makes that mistake easy to repeat.

The page itself still matters a lot when you get it right.

Penn Foster sent brand search ads to a dedicated landing page and saw +202% click-to-lead.

KlientBoost's landing page tests for Podia's first paid campaigns produced +75% conversions.

Those wins came from testing pages against each other, not from any single generated draft.

Unbounce Smart Builder

Unbounce launched Smart Builder as its AI-guided builder: you pick your industry and goal, and it suggests sections, layouts and copy.

Unbounce's Smart Builder guide describes pre-built section templates, a style guide and copy insights.

There is a catch for new customers. In April 2024 an Unbounce staff member wrote on the Unbounce community that Smart Builder had not been discontinued, but new accounts had to request access while Unbounce moved "many of the best parts of Smart Builder" into the Classic Builder.

If you want Smart Builder specifically, ask Unbounce before you buy.

For most buyers, the AI that matters at Unbounce now is in the Classic Builder and Smart Traffic.

As of November 2026, the Unbounce pricing page lists Starter at $29/month (500 visitors), Build at $99/month, Experiment at $149/month with A/B testing, and Optimize at $249/month with Smart Traffic.

Every plan includes AI copywriting, yearly billing saves 25%, and the 14-day trial needs no card.

Smart Traffic uses "AI traffic routing to send visitors to their best-match landing page."

That is optimization, not proof: it does not tell you why one page won.

Unbounce also shut down its stand-alone Smart Copy app on January 28, 2026, though AI copy help stays inside the builder.

Not for: Shopify stores that want native product and cart data, or anyone under 500 visitors a month who expects A/B testing (it starts on the $149 plan). See our full Unbounce review.

Instapage AI

Instapage's AI content generator writes headlines, body text, CTAs and "page variations for A/B testing" inside the builder.

Its AI experiments feature routes ad traffic toward the better-performing version automatically.

As of November 2026, the Instapage plans page lists Create at $99/month (15,000 visitors, AI content, no A/B testing) and Optimize at $199/month with server-side A/B testing and AI experiments.

Convert is custom-priced and sold through a demo. The 14-day trial requires a credit card.

Instapage costs more than Unbounce at the entry level, and A/B testing is locked behind the $199 plan.

It makes sense for teams producing many ad-specific pages each month, where message match between ad and page does most of the work.

Not for: small businesses with one or two pages, or ecommerce stores. Compare it in our Instapage review.

Framer and Webflow AI

Framer and Webflow are website builders first. Their AI is strong at producing well-designed pages, but they are not built around paid-traffic landing pages the way Unbounce and Instapage are.

Framer's AI agent "creates editable pages, sections, copy, and visuals" from a prompt and can review a site for typos, contrast issues and SEO gaps before publishing.

As of November 2026, Framer pricing has a free plan with 500 AI credits, Basic at $10/month and Pro at $30/month.

A/B testing is a Pro add-on at $50 per 500,000 events.

Webflow AI includes an AI site builder that creates a whole site from a prompt, an AI Assistant, and Webflow Optimize, which uses machine learning for testing and personalization.

As of November 2026, Webflow pricing starts with a free Starter plan, Basic at $15/month and Premium at $25/month (both billed yearly).

Optimize, which adds A/B testing and AI Optimize, starts at $299/month.

Not for: teams that just need fast campaign pages without a designer.

Both tools give you more design control than you may need, and testing costs extra.

Shopify AI builders: Replo and GemPages

For Shopify stores, the AI builders worth a look work with your real products, prices and cart. Generic AI site builders don't.

Replo turns "an ad, a Figma file, a link, or a screenshot" into a page with your real products, connects to Meta, TikTok and Google Ads, and includes conversion tracking, heatmaps and A/B testing.

As of November 2026, Replo pricing has a free plan with 1,000 credits, Starter at $119/month ($99/month billed yearly) and Pro at $599/month ($499/month yearly).

Replo works on credits, so heavy page generation uses up your allowance.

GemPages is the cheaper route. Its Shopify App Store listing shows a free plan with one published page, Build at $29/month, Optimize at $59/month and Enterprise at $199/month as of November 2026. It includes AI generation, an MCP connection for AI assistants, and offer testing.

Full page A/B tests run through its separate GemX app.

Custom landing pages can pay off. Breath Death reported +150% conversion from custom landing pages versus their Shopify product pages, and Peter Christensen's advertorial-style landing pages for paid traffic cut CPA by 35% at the same spend.

Page builders carry a cost too. In one A/B test by Oliver Kenyon, rebuilding a landing page natively in Shopify instead of in a page builder lifted revenue per visitor by 20.9%.

Builder code can slow pages down, so check speed before you scale.

More options are in our Shopify landing page builders guide and our Replo vs PageFly comparison.

Not for: stores that aren't on Shopify (GemPages is Shopify-only), or brands that can't afford Replo's paid tiers.

Test the output before you trust it

An AI-generated page is a hypothesis, not a result.

Treat it like any other challenger: run it against your current page and let the data decide.

  1. Start from a reason, not a prompt. Use your ad copy, reviews and customer research to tell the AI what to say. Our customer research guide covers how to find it.
  2. Test one big idea at a time. Dave Diederen's test of new headline variations on a listicle landing page gave +18% conversion rate. Headlines are a cheap place to use AI copy.
  3. Expect flat results. Clean Commit's landing-page-style collection pages came in at -2.4% conversion, inconclusive. A new look alone often changes nothing.
  4. Check your traffic first. Use the sample size calculator before you start. If traffic is thin, test bigger changes or wait for more visitors.
  5. Run through a checklist. The landing page checklist catches basics AI drafts often miss, such as message match and a clear offer.

Be careful with AI traffic routing like Smart Traffic or AI experiments.

It can raise conversions, but it doesn't give you a clean winner you can learn from.

If you need to know what works, run a standard A/B test.

Our roundup of AI A/B testing tools covers that side.

If you'd rather have someone build and test your landing pages for you, a specialist can take that off your plate.

Which AI landing page builder should you choose?

  • Lead-gen or SaaS with paid traffic: Unbounce, if you can pay for the Experiment plan. Instapage if you build many ad-specific pages.
  • Shopify store: Replo for ad-matched pages with testing built in; GemPages if budget matters more.
  • Design-led marketing site: Framer or Webflow, if you're already there.
  • Free: Framer, Webflow, Replo and GemPages all have free plans, but they come with limits like one published page, a vendor domain or a small AI credit allowance.

Questions

What is the best AI landing page builder?

For lead-gen and SaaS, Unbounce and Instapage pair AI copy with built-in A/B testing.

For Shopify stores, Replo and GemPages work with your real products and cart.

Framer and Webflow suit teams that already run their site there.

Is there a free AI landing page builder?

Framer, Webflow, Replo and GemPages all have free plans as of November 2026, but with limits: GemPages allows one published page, Replo's free plan publishes on replosites.com with 1,000 credits, and Framer's includes 500 AI credits. Unbounce and Instapage offer 14-day trials instead.

Do AI-generated landing pages convert better?

Not automatically. An AI page is a draft to test against your current page.

In our database, Clean Commit rebuilt a landing page on another page's layout and conversions fell 38.5%, while tested headline and page changes produced clear wins.

Is Unbounce Smart Builder still available?

In April 2024 Unbounce said Smart Builder was not discontinued, but new accounts had to request access while its best parts moved into the Classic Builder.

Ask Unbounce before buying if you need it. Every current plan includes AI copywriting.

What is an AI landing page optimization tool?

It routes traffic or creates variants automatically, such as Unbounce Smart Traffic, Instapage AI experiments or Webflow Optimize.

These can raise conversions, but a standard A/B test is still the clearest way to learn which page wins and why.
