Scheduler embedded in Contact Us form: booking rate 50% to 80%+

WinnerBefore/after, not a split testDemo request

NetSPI embedded a meeting scheduler in its Contact Us form, and the share of form fills that booked a meeting went from about 50% to over 80%.

NetSPI, a penetration testing company, ran the change, and it was published as a Chili Piper customer story in June 2025. It is a before/after result, and an AI meeting-prep tool went live at the same time.

booking rate 50% to 80%+
  • Booking rate from the Contact Us form: about 50% before, over 80% after.
  • Meetings set: up 71% after the January launch.
  • Time from form fill to meeting: down 63%.
  • The team says the results held over time, but no sample size or time window was shared. Inbound volume was also rising, which may explain part of the meetings-set gain.

The wait-for-follow-up step is replaced by a calendar right after submit

Control

Prospects submitted the Contact Us form and then waited for someone to follow up. Reps had scheduling links in their email signatures, but few used them consistently.

Variant

A scheduler built into the Contact Us form, so prospects choose a meeting time right after they submit. Meetings are routed to the right rep automatically.

Why it likely won

Our reading of the result, not the practitioner's claim.

  • High-intent buyers can book while they are still on the page, instead of waiting for a reply that may come too late.
  • Automatic routing puts the meeting on the right rep's calendar without a manual handoff.
  • Signature links depended on each rep, while the form puts booking in front of every prospect.

Caveats: Before/after comparison, not a split test, and an AI meeting-prep tool launched at the same time. Published by the scheduling vendor, with no sample size shared.

How to run this test on your site

Hypothesis
If we show a booking calendar right after our Contact Us form is submitted, then more inbound leads will book a meeting because they can pick a time before their interest fades.
Primary metric
Share of Contact Us submissions that book a meeting
Guardrails
  • Meeting show rate
  • Share of meetings that become sales-accepted opportunities
  • Contact form submission rate
Who should test it
Lead-gen and B2B service firms whose Contact Us form leads to a sales call, especially with long buying cycles. It fits less if most enquiries are support requests or need a quote before any call.

Questions

Why embed a scheduler in a contact form?

It lets prospects book a meeting the moment they ask for one.

That cuts the delay and back-and-forth that cause some leads to go cold.

Are scheduling links in email signatures enough?

NetSPI found signature links got patchy use because each rep had to set them up and use them.

Putting booking on the form reached every inbound prospect.

Does instant booking hurt lead quality?

It can bring in meetings that sales would have filtered out.

Track show rate and how many meetings become accepted opportunities alongside the booking rate.
