Labels, prices and Buy Now on collection cards: +$29,621 per month
Adding product labels and a Buy Now button showing the price to collection page cards was reported to add $29,621 per month. Oliver Kenyon ran this test for BOOM! by Cindy Joseph. Shoppers no longer had to click into each product to see what it cost or which items were popular.
- Revenue: +$29,621 per month, forecast at $355,452 per year.
- Revenue per session: $0.83 was listed as a result. It is not clear whether this is the new value or the lift.
- Conversion rate, order value and confidence levels were not shared.
The change
Cards gained popularity labels and a Buy Now button with the price.
Simplified mockup drawn by LiftArchive from the shared screenshots.
Control
Each collection card showed a photo, name, stars and a short line, with a "View details" button. No price or labels were visible.
Variant
Cards gained small "Best Seller", "New" and "Trending" labels, and the button changed to "Buy now" with the price, such as "Buy now at $79".
Why it likely won
Our reading of the result, not the practitioner's claim.
- showing the price up front removes a click and lets shoppers compare options quickly.
- labels point undecided shoppers toward popular or new items.
- "Buy now" is a clearer next step than "View details", which may move people toward purchase faster.
Caveats: Three changes went live together, so we can't tell which one drove the result. The yearly figure is a forecast, and sample size and test length were not shared.

How to run this test on your store
- Hypothesis
- If we show prices, popularity labels and a direct buy button on collection cards, then revenue per visitor will rise because shoppers can compare and act without opening each product.
- Primary metric
- Revenue per visitor
- Guardrails
- Average order value
- Product page views
- Return rate
- Who should test it
- Stores with a small range of similar products where price and popularity drive the choice. It may help less when products need explaining before purchase, or when prices are already shown on cards.

In this test, adding visible prices, along with labels and a Buy Now button, was reported to add $29,621 per month.
Do Best Seller and Trending labels help sales?
They were part of this winning change, but they launched with other changes, so their own effect is unknown.
Is a Buy Now button better than View Details on a collection card?
This test swapped View Details for Buy Now with the price and won overall. Test it on its own to isolate the effect.
