'Ships by Tomorrow' plus local flag under ATC: +9.71% RPV
Replacing a 'Fast Shipping' line under the add to cart button with 'Ships by Tomorrow' and a localized flag lifted revenue per visitor by 9.71%. Dave Diederen ran the test, which also raised conversion rate by 7.40% and profit per visitor by 9.85%.
- Conversion rate: 2.54% to 2.72% (+7.40%).
- Revenue per visitor: £2.70 to £2.96 (+9.71%), estimated at about £93,225 extra per month.
- Profit per visitor: £1.42 to £1.56 (+9.85%), the primary metric.
- Average order value: £106.37 to £108.66 (+2.15%), roughly flat.
- Confidence ranges were wide and crossed zero (conversion -4% to +20%), so the size of the lift is uncertain.
The change
Generic 'Fast Shipping' replaced by a ship date and localized flag line
Simplified mockup drawn by LiftArchive from the shared screenshots.
Control
Under the add to cart button, a single line read 'Fast Shipping'.
Variant
Two items sat under the button: a green dot with 'Ships by Tomorrow', and a country flag with a fast shipping line for that country. The flag and country changed based on the visitor's location.
Why it likely won
Our reading of the result, not the practitioner's claim.
- a specific ship date is more believable than a generic 'fast' claim.
- a flag for the shopper's own country suggests the order won't come from far away.
- the message sits right under the button, where shipping doubts come up.
Caveats: The confidence ranges include zero, so the lift may be smaller than shown. Sample size and duration were not shared, and the claim only works if orders really ship next day.

How to run this test on your store
- Hypothesis
- If we replace a generic shipping badge with a concrete ship-by date and a localized country line under add to cart, then conversion will rise because shoppers know when and from where the order ships.
- Primary metric
- Revenue per visitor
- Guardrails
- Profit per visitor
- Late delivery complaints
- Average order value
- Who should test it
- Stores that can ship next day and sell into several countries. Skip it if fulfilment can't keep the promise or all traffic is from one market.
Questions
Does a 'Fast Shipping' badge help conversion?
Generic claims are easy to ignore. In this test a specific 'Ships by Tomorrow' line plus a local flag beat it, with +9.71% revenue per visitor.
Should shipping info go under the add to cart button?
Here it did, so the answer to 'when will it ship' sat right where the shopper clicks. The test lifted conversion rate 7.40%.
Why show a country flag on the product page?
A flag matching the visitor's country can make a foreign store feel local. In this test the flag and country changed by visitor location.
