New custom sign-up pages for CarDash's early-access list, launched with rebuilt paid campaigns, came with a reported 306% rise in lead sign-ups. KlientBoost ran this engagement for CarDash, a vehicle maintenance app that was still pre-launch, and published it as a PDF case study. It was a bundled before/after change, so the page's own share of the lift is unknown.

## Result

**+306% lead sign-ups**

- Lead sign-ups: +306%, reported for the whole engagement, not the page alone.
- Cost per acquisition: down 67%.
- Site traffic: up 13% in the first month, so part of the sign-up growth came from more visitors, not a better page.
- No sample size, duration or significance was shared.

## Control

CarDash's earlier paid traffic and sign-up flow. The startup said it lacked the design and engineering resources to build its own landing and sign-up pages.

## Variant

KlientBoost designed on-brand landing pages for collecting early-access email sign-ups. At the same time it ran Google search ads and lookalike audiences on Facebook and Twitter.

## Why it likely won (our reading)

- A pre-launch app has one job for its page: get the email. A focused early-access page with a single form leaves little to distract.
- Before the engagement there were no dedicated pages, so any purpose-built page had a low bar to beat.
- Lookalike audiences and search ads likely brought in more relevant visitors, which lifts sign-ups whatever the page looks like.

## Caveats

Agency-reported before/after result for a whole paid-media engagement, not a split test. Ads, keywords, targeting and landing pages all changed together, and no sample size, test duration or significance was shared.

## How to run this test

- Hypothesis: If we send paid traffic to a dedicated early-access page with one sign-up form instead of a general page, then sign-up rate will rise because visitors see one clear action that matches the ad.
- Primary metric: Email sign-up rate from paid traffic
- Guardrail: Cost per sign-up
- Guardrail: Share of sign-ups that confirm or open the first email
- Who should test it: Pre-launch apps and SaaS products building a waitlist from paid ads. It matters less if you already send paid traffic to a focused, single-goal page.
