A sticky Add to Cart bar on product pages lifted conversion rate by 47.61% for Jackson's. Blend Commerce ran this A/B/C test, which also tried a sticky bar promoting 10% Subscribe & Save. Both beat the control, but the plain Add to Cart bar won.

## Result

**+47.6% conversion**

- Variant 1 (Add to Cart): conversion rate +47.61% and revenue per visitor +48.28%.
- Variant 1: average products per visitor +47.10%, with a slight fall in bounce rate (-0.41%).
- Variant 2 (Subscribe & Save): conversion rate +28.56% and revenue per visitor +31.36%, weaker than Variant 1.
- Variant 1 was made the default sticky bar.

## Control

Shoppers had to scroll back up or down the product page to reach the buy button.

## Variant

Variant 1 added a sticky Add to Cart bar for one-time purchase that stayed on screen while scrolling. Variant 2 used the same bar but promoted a 10% Subscribe & Save offer.

## Why it likely won (our reading)

- A buy button that never leaves the screen removes the scroll back to act once a shopper has decided.
- A one-time purchase is a smaller commitment than a subscription, so more shoppers were ready to click it.
- The subscription bar asked shoppers to make an extra choice about repeat orders, which may have slowed some down.

## Caveats

No significance level, sample size or duration was shared. Lifts this large are unusual and may shrink over time.

## How to run this test

- Hypothesis: If we add a sticky Add to Cart bar to product pages, then conversion will rise because the buy action is always in reach.
- Primary metric: Conversion rate
- Guardrail: Revenue per visitor
- Guardrail: Subscription share of orders
- Guardrail: Mobile bounce rate
- Who should test it: Stores with long product pages where the buy button scrolls out of view. If your pages are short or already have a sticky button, expect less.
