Redesigning the BODYGUARDZ account page with fewer links and prominent CTAs lifted successful screen protector registrations by 12.09% over 13 days. Wingify Services ran this test for BODYGUARDZ, and it was published as a VWO case study. Several changes shipped together, so the result reflects the whole redesign rather than one element.

## Result

**+12.09% product registrations**

- Successful screen protector registrations: +12.09% relative lift over 13 days.
- The same redesign was run for desktop users, where the case study reports a 37.67% uplift.
- No sample size or confidence level was shared.
- The metric is registrations, not purchases.

## Control

Menu options on the account page were hard to reach, and on mobile the account menu vanished once you opened any account page. The copy was confusing, and it took several clicks to reach the product.

## Variant

Redundant links were removed and prominent CTAs were added that went straight to registering a product and viewing registered products.

## Why it likely won (our reading)

- Direct CTAs cut out the extra clicks that stood between users and registering.
- Keeping navigation available on mobile account pages stops people from getting stuck.
- Removing redundant links and confusing copy makes the main task clearer.

## Caveats

This was a bundled redesign, so no single change can be credited. It ran for 13 days with no confidence level shared, and the metric is registrations rather than purchases.

## How to run this test

- Hypothesis: If we remove redundant links from the account page and add clear buttons for its main tasks, then more users will complete those tasks because they reach them in fewer clicks.
- Primary metric: Completed registrations from the account page
- Guardrail: Purchases from logged-in users
- Guardrail: Support contacts about accounts
- Who should test it: Stores where customers use the account area for a key task, such as warranty registration, reorders or subscriptions. If few people log in, there is not much traffic to move.
